Reflective Narrative
This course helped me fulfilled MLO 3, literary and cultural knowledge. I had previously taken courses about Latin America, which include Mexico, but in this course we focused just in Mexico. I wanted to take this class to expand my knowledge on my own history, which is the Mexican history. I learned many things throughout the semester. Like in the other cultural classes we began learning about the ancient civilizations and ended the semester in the present time. I learned about politics, which is something that fascinates me. This course was a little bit different form others. Our textbook was an anthology, it had personal writings from people over time. It was interesting to learn about history from real documents. Also we had to create a Portfolio to show our progress in the class. In the near future I will visit my native country, Mexico, and plan to stay there for a while to continue to learn more about it. Through this course I was inspired to further study the history of Mexico.
